ANTIQUE PATENT APRIL 7, 1891 PHOENIX BRAND TRUNK-SHAPED CAST IRON STILL BANK NICKEL PLATED CAST IRON IN ORIGINAL CONDITION. This is an antique still bank that is made out of nickel-plated cast iron. It’s shaped like a trunk and reads, “Dime” on the top. The bottom of the bank is marked with a patent date of April 7, 1891 and reads, “Phoenix The New Improved Registering Trunk Bank”. Bank has not been refurbished and is in original condition with the original nickel-plating. It’s in excellent condition overall for its age with just natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Bank measures almost 3 and 3/4″ tall by 5″ wide by just over 2.5 thick. Weighs over 2 lbs.
