Rare Antique late 1800’s Victorian original cast iron Bull Dog Bank – working. This wonderful fully working antique Victorian cast iron Bull Dog Bank is in very good condition for it’s age. When you press down on the tail the dogs mouth opens so you can pop your coin in. After the coin has dropped release the tail and the mouth shuts again. The original rubber stopper on the base is still in good order. The whole piece is made from heavy duty cast iron and then hand painted. We love this fella. He has lot’s of character about him. Please see photo’s for more detail on condition. Date: Antique – Late 1800’s. 6 inches long (including the tail) x 2.75 inches wide x 6.5 inches tall. Weight is: 2 kg’s.
