Offered for sale is an excellent example of the very hard to find cast iron “Rose Window” still bank. Manufactured by the H. Sometime in the 1890’s. T measures approximately 2 1/4″ high x 2 3/8″ wide x 1 1/2 deep and a. S can be seen from the pictures, is in very nice condition: there are. No breaks, cracks or other damage, and it retains its original twist pin and much of its original jappaned finish. As with any piece of this age, there is some playwear and consequent loss to the finish here and there, but the piece displays nicely and is a fine example of a very early architectural bank.
