BIG PRICE CUT CHECK IT OUT! A VERY CUTE 125+ YEAR OLD CAST IRON BANK! This old small street car trolley bank is not perfect! Please look closely at the 10 up close photos to see it well. First the wheels are missing. No big deal right? Also the “twist” closure is gone! Another problem but fixable! The last item is on one side near the twist opening. I can’t say if it was a factory mistake, or was broken, but it doesn’t look repaired, just not perfect! You be the judge! It isn’t perfect and is an old “as found”! Listed in Moore’s Bank Book on page132, M# 1468 rated “E”. The finish is original, never repainted, and no (ugh) oil! It does show wear but since it was made in 1891, it should show age & wear. Size is 2 7/8 x 4 1/2. The iron is so very smooooth! Just perfect for a bank this old! Made and looking so cute on a shelf! The twist ties were removed for the last photos, and yes it will stand alone and together without the ties. If you have an old twist & extra old wheels, then maybe this bank is for you?
