This is an original cast iron bank featuring Tammany Hall Boss Tweed. It would insert a small coin into the slot into his pocket area from his hand when his arm moves. The head tilts back and forth when pushed. It appears that the patent date is 1873. Some wear from paint loss over the many years but in very good mechanical condition.
