DESCRIPTION : This is the large r version of the cast iron Independence Hall Still Bank measuring 9-3/8″ (length) x 8″ (depth) x 9-1/2 (height). Cast into the bottom, ENTERPRISE MFG. Maintains a lot of its original finish. Both siders of the bank have raised letters. On one side: LIBERTY, PROCLAIMED JULY. On the other: “BIRTHPLACE OF AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE”. CONDITION : Maintains most of its original finish. Railing along the top of one side is broken off, as is the top of the spire. There is also a hairline crack on the bottom.
